Helpful Information, questions to ask a dealer before purchasing an ATV.
KidATV respects and supports the efforts of the ATV Safety Institute. We encourage all riders to take a safety course, use proper riding gear and ride the proper vehicle for age.
Put the pedal to the metal!
The Jackel 110R has a single, 4 stroke air cooled engine and weighs a total of 256lbs. It comes with a 3 speed and reverse, chain drive transmission. We LOVE this machine. The semi-auto clutch is geared so an adult can climb hills on it. This machine is has all of the safety features a mother could want. Jackel claims that this unit has been the number off brand 110 cc ATV in the US for the last two years. We believe it. One ride sold us.
Jackel Motorsports reps quickly pointed out to us that they are a US manufacturer and distributor with close to 10 years in the business. Production quality is better managed to meet US specs resulting in a superior quality unit. Though this ATV is manufactured in China, the end result is a better value. High end companies have premium prices because of the name brand, company costs and overhead costs. It seems that Jackel has found the best means to combine Chinese mass manufacturing with Japanese quality manufacturing to provide the best overall 90cc quad on the market today. The end result is superbly made product with an affordable price.
Reviewers even spoke with the expert technicians at Jackel. They were efficient, courteous and knowledgeable about not only the Jackel products. Parts are readily available and shipped the same day it is ordered! Jackel has all parts ready in warehouse, connected with the sales department to ship.

Adult supervised and 12 years and over.
The Quadsport 80 Suzuki has to offer has a 2 stroke, single cylinder, forced air cooled engine and an automatic clutch, variable speed transmission. It has drum brakes for both front and rear, weighs 220 lbs. and can hold up 1.6 gallons of fuel.
This A.T.V. fails in comparison to the Jackel Lightning Rod. Two stroke engines can increase speed, but risks having low mileage. They are not environment friendly and aren't durable.
Bottom Line: The Jackel 110R is cheaper for the same if not better offer.

Comes with helmet & safety gear.
The Polaris Predator Cross (Outlaw 90) seems to have a 4-stroke engine with an automatic PVT chain drive transmission. It can go forward and reverse. The kids don't have to worry about shifting gears and the brakes use drums for both front and rear. The Polaris weighs 283 lbs. and holds up to 1.7 gallons of fuel.
Does it test out against the Jackel 110R? It comes close, but does not beat the price. It is a matter of looks to me if you have the money.

Mean Machine.
So mean, it boosts up the price! This blue lightning terror has an air cooled 4 stroke 2 valve engine. It has a 3-speed automatic clutch transmission. Drums are used for the front and rear brakes. The Yamaha Raptor 80 weighs 242 lbs. and has a fuel capacity of 1.8 gallons.
How does it match up against the Jackel 110R? Big price difference for the same thing. You pay at least $600 more.

Terror Squad. The wallet bandit.
The name implies its price. This Honda TRX 90 comes fully equipped with a 4 stroke engine and a four speed automatic transmission. It has an electric starter and has front and rear drum brakes. It has a fuel tank that can hold up to 2 gallons.
The Jackel 110R is very much comparable to this A.T.V. It can hold up to its standards and can beat its price tremendously. All parts are fit and finish ready on the Jackel.

Great price but at what cost?
Roketa has 110cc model. This machine has a 4 stroke, air-cooled, 2 valve automatic 2 wheel drive engine. It comes standard with disc brakes front and drum in the back. It holds a good 0.74 gal of fuel. This machine has a decent look and a reasonable price. However, we are concerned about parts support and durability of the unit that translates into rider safety. Is the flag to waive for help when the machine breaks offroad? Another concern is that Roketa as a company is now on its third name as a company. Previously the product was called Terminator and Golden Vale. Our reviewers appreciate quality branding but frequent name change is a cause for a concern. Is this because they would rather flood the market with poorly made units and then change the company name to escape a bad reputation?

Great price why is it so inexpensive?
Redcat has a long and storied history in the United States, so much so that they company changed its name from Redcat to Tank. This machine has a 4 stroke, air-cooled, 2 valve automatic 2 wheel drive engine. It comes standard with front disc and rear drum brakes. This machine has a decent look and has a reasonable price. It is a light unit but is that because the frame is of less durable steel? As we noted with the Roketa brand, we have issues with this.

Great price but is only for close out specials?
Kazuma offers the market a 107 cc model. This machine has a 4 stroke, air-cooled, 2 valve automatic 2 wheel drive engine. It comes standard with front and rear drum brakes. Kazuma has a poor reputation with parts and service. We are greatly concerned with a CPSC review the Meerkat 50. We hope that the current offering does not have the serious issues of that model.

Great price but is only for close out specials?
The SunL Transformer V4 is a 110cc ATV. This machine has a 4 stroke, air-cooled, 2 valve automatic 2 wheel drive engine. This machine has a decent look and has a reasonable price. The question that faces SunL is the parts and service that the warranty claims. Industry information has suggested that though a factory warranty is offered, parts for the bike are sparse resulting in a useless warranty.
