Helpful Information, questions to ask a dealer before purchasing an ATV.
KidATV respects and supports the efforts of the ATV Safety Institute. We encourage all riders to take a safety course, use proper riding gear and ride the proper vehicle for age.
Roll out of your garage with one of these toys!
This machine has a single cylinder, 4 stroke air cooled engine with a net weight of 187 lbs. It has an automatic transmission and can ride up to 20 mph within a tank's capacity of 1 gallon. Relax out on the front yard while your son/daughter has the safe, quality ride of their life!
Jackel Motorsports reps quickly pointed out to us that they are a US manufacturer and distributor with close to 10 years in the business. Production quality is better managed to meet US specs resulting in a superior quality unit. Though this ATV is manufactured in China, the end result is a better value. High end companies have premium prices because of the name brand, company costs and overhead costs. It seems that Jackel has found the best means to combine Chinese mass manufacturing with Japanese quality manufacturing to provide the best overall 70cc quad on the market today. The end result is superbly made product with an affordable price.
Reviewers even spoke with the expert technicians at Jackel. They were efficient, courteous and knowledgeable about not only the Jackel products but the competition as well. Parts are readily available and shipped the same day it is ordered! How do they do that? Jackel has all parts ready in warehouse, connected with the sales department to ship.

Ahhh, yes. The E-Ton Viper 70.
The E-Ton Viper 70 comes fully equipped with a four cycle air cooled (EPA) compliant engine and an automatic C.V.T. transmission. It starts with an electric starter and has a backup kick start just in case. It comes standard with front mechanical drum and rear hydraulic disk brakes, the way cars do. The E-Ton weighs 247 lbs.
This A.T.V. is relatively not a bad one, except it is more expensive than the Jackel and weighs a little more. If you don't mind spending a little bit more for more weight and the same engine, then this would be a good buy.
This bike is recommended for use only by rider's age 6 years and older.

Gettin' the low down.
Nice look. It has a 4 stroke engine with an automatic drive train transmission. It has an electric starter and weighs 237 lbs. It holds up to 1.8 gallons of fuel for further trails and comes in blue/white/gray/red colors. Not much to say about this one except for the price overload.
This bike is recommended for use only by rider's age 6 years and older.

Strictly buying the name brand.
This machine seems over rated to me. A 2-stroke engine should dramatically decrease the price of the A.T.V. overall and decrease the weight. I am not a big fan of 2-stroke engines as they are not environment friendly and not best for Kids. The two-strokes will last less and waste more gas and oil.
I wouldn't use this Quadsport for beginner riders at all. Any of the previous competitors would be a better buy. The Jackel 70R of course, seems the best to purchase.
This bike is recommended for use only by rider's age 12 years and older.

Great price but at what cost?
Roketa has 70cc model. This machine has a 4 stroke, air-cooled, 2 valve automatic 2 wheel drive engine. It comes standard with disc brakes front and drum in the back. It holds a good 0.74 gal of fuel. This machine has a decent look and a reasonable price. However, we are concerned about parts support and durability of the unit that translates into rider safety. Is the flag to waive for help when the machine breaks? Another concern is that Roketa as a company is now on its third name as a company. Previously the product was called Terminator and Golden Vale. Our reviewers appreciate quality branding but frequent name change is a cause for a concern. Is this because they would rather flood the market with poorly made units and then change the company name to escape a bad reputation?

Great price why is it so inexpensive?
Redcat has a long and storied history in the United States, so much so that they company changed its name from Redcat to Tank. This machine has a 4 stroke, air-cooled, 2 valve automatic 2 wheel drive engine. It comes standard with front and rear drum brakes. This machine has a decent look and has a reasonable price. It is a light unit but is that because the frame is of less durable steel? As we noted with the Roketa brand, we have issues with this.

Great price but is only for close out specials?
Kazuma offers the market a 70 cc model. This machine has a 4 stroke, air-cooled, 2 valve automatic 2 wheel drive engine. It comes standard with rear disc brakes and holds a good 0.91 gal of fuel. Kazuma has a poor reputation with parts and service. We are greatly concerned with a CPSC review of its preview 70 cc offering the Meerkat 50. We hope that the current offering does not have the serious issues that its predecessor provided. However, they look identical.

Great price but is only for close out specials?
We "think" that SunL has a 70cc model. Thinking because there website no longer displays a unit in this class. This machine has a 4 stroke, air-cooled, 2 valve automatic 2 wheel drive engine. This machine has a decent look and has a reasonable price. However, we are concerned by the lack of information on the SunL website. Not to mention a poor reputation with parts and service.
